Col. Swaim of the Third Regiment Iowa National Guard, will take part in the dedication of the Grant Memorial Monument in New York City on April 2. Col. Swaim on Wednesday received the appointment on aid-de-camp on the staff of General Dodge, who is to be Grand Marshal of the Day.
