Can anyone help me find an obituary or a death certificate for Samuel ALLISON, b. 19 March 1828 in Orange Co., NY; d. 30 August 1888, Eureka, Sac Co., IA? I hsve found his probate packet in Sac County and that is where I learned that Samuel died on 30 August 1888 in Eureka, Sac Co., IA. What I want to learn is the cause of his death.

His wife was Emeline Johanna HARRIS ALLISON. They were married on 02 March 1852, Licking Co., OH. Soon after their marriage, Samuel and Emeline migrated in April 1852 from Licking Co., Ohio to Delhi, Delaware County in eastern Iowa. They farmed near Delhi until 1881 when they moved to Sac County where Samuel owned a farm of a section and a half of land.

Both Samuel and Emeline ALLISON are buried in the Schaller Cemetery in Sac Co., IA.
