Lloyd W. Coe

Lloyd W. Coe, 71, of Lake View, formerly of Des Moines, died Friday at a Sac City hospital. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Lake View, and a graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in York, Neb.

Mr. Coe was born in Nebraska and lived in Des Moines while serving as executive secretary of The Iowa Hospital Association in the 1950’s. He was secretary-treasurer of the Iowa Hospital and Education Research Fund at the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; a daughter, Ann Hickcox of Beaverton, Ore.; a son, Larry of Carlton, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
