FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR ISAAC KIBURZ

Funeral services for Isaac KIBURZ were held September 24, 1954, at the United Presbyterian church in Tingley with Rev. Chas. WILSON of Tingley, and the Rev. D. TERRELL, of Newell, Iowa, officiating.

The body of Mr. KIBURZ was brought to the Edwards funeral home and later taken to the D.L. McCLURE home where it lay in state until time for the funeral.

OBITUARY - ISAAC KIBURZ

Isaac KIBURZ, son of Isaac and Margaret KIBURZ, was born on the farm south of Tingley, October 8, 1896, and passed away at Veterans' Hospital in Des Moines at the midnight hour September 21, 1954, at the age of 57 years, 11 months, 13 days.

After serving during World War 1 in the 133rd Division, Base Hospital Unit, he attended the "4-C" college in Des Moines, Iowa. For fifteen years he was affiliated with the Tingley State Savings Bank. Following this he operated the farm northeast of Tingley and the bluegrass seed business which continued to be his major interest until his death.

He was converted to the Christian faith in his youth and united with the United Presbyterian church when he was in high school. His illness extended over many years and death came from myocardial infarction.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Gladys, two sons, John Allen of Tingley and Kenneth Isaac of Wall Lake, one granddaughter, Joy Ann, two sisters, Anna BLACKMORE and Emma McCLURE of Tingley, besides many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother and one brother, John.
