OBITUARY - ISAAC KIBRUZ SR.
Isaac KIBURZ, Sr., was born at Monroe, Wisconsin, May 3, 1853, and died of heart trouble at his home in Tingley, Iowa, February 15, 1924.
While he was an infant the parents, Rudolph and Anna Marie (SCHNEIDER) KIBURZ, moved to Monticello, Iowa, where he lived for seventeen years.
At the end of that time he went west where he remained for about eight years. In 1880 he came to Tingley and in 1882, having prepared a home he brought his bride, Margaret HEIN, and here they have since lived.
To this union were born four children, the eldest, John, passing on when eleven years old. He was always a kind and loving husband and father seeking ever for the advancement and welfare of his children in every way.
He joined the United Presbyterian church in 1895. From that time until the day of his death he was always found in his place at all the services of his church. He served for a number of years as trustee and always gave his cheerful and loyal service in whatever way he could to promote the good of his church and community.
He was a brother in the I.O.O.F. Yeoman and Masonic lodges.
There remains to mourn his loss, the loyal and devoted wife, three children, Anna, Emma and Isaac, one grandchild, Virleen and two sisters, Emma HEIN and Lucetta FLORME, besides a host of relatives and friends.
When the call of his Master came, he was not found idle; but having just completed his morning chores. He was taken while performing these tasks of duty and love and so his mission in life was completed as were his morning chores.
