Mrs. Ray Kleckner died at Ensworth Hospital on Monday, failing to survive an operation for appendicitis. Mrs Kkeckner wastaken to St. Joseph on Saturday, Sept. 27th, and the operation was
performed the next day. For some days her condition seemed favorable, but about last Thursday symptoms of infection appeared. She grew worse until her death about ten Monday. She leaves two children, Belva aged four, and Golda, two years of age. The body was brought to Diagonal and Interment announced for Bethel Cemetery.

Kleckner, Sylvia Lewelia -
Sylvia Lewelia Kleckner was born October 6, 1898 in Ringgold County, lows, and died at the hospital at Saint Joseph, Mo., on October 6, 1919, aged 21 years. On November 2, 1914. she was
united in marriage to Ray Kleckner to which onion were born two daughters, Belva. 4 years of age, and Golda, aged 2 years of age.Besides her two little daughters she leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, mother, brother and three sisters, Golda, Bessie and Edna, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the home of her mother west of Diagonal at on Saturday Oct, 11th, conducted by Rev. R. W. Swick and burial was made in the Bethel Cemetery. The two little girls will make their home with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs J. H. Kleckner.
