Louk, Golda Bye -
Golda, daughter of Wm and Lorena Bye was born near Maloy,la., Sept 1, 1906 and departed this life at Mission, Kansas, June 20, 1954 at the age of 48 years.

The family resided near Clearfield until 1918 when they moved to Hartford, Kan., where she graduated from high school and then attended State Teachers College at Emporia, fitting herself
to be a teacher. She taught in the Waverly community for several years.

June 14, 1928 she was united in marriage to Frank T Louk of Waverly, Kansas. To this union were born three sons: Gail V.,Frank W., and Peter. The family has lived in Mission for some time.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Capt Ernest Bye, who lost his life in the Pacific Ocean in 1944, and her mother, only 11 weeks ago, on March 31. Surviving besides her husband and 3 sons, are her father Wm Bye of Cameron, Mo.; a sister, Bernice Weismiller of Bryton, Colo.; a brother, Ralph Bye of Kansas City, Kan.; other
relatives and many friends. Funeral services and interment were in Mission, Kan., June 23.
