Evans, Doneta Jean –
Doneta Jean Evans was born Dec. 7, 1946 at the Butler Memorial Hospltal at Butler, Mo. She was the daughter of Grover and Beverly Brannon Evans, and died at her home in El Dorado, Kan., March 26, 1953. Although Doneta could not run and play like other children, to know her was to love her, for she had a sunny, happy disposition although she had much suffering in her short life.
Besides her parents she leaves her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.W. C. Evans of Anvoret, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Brannon of Diagonal, la. The funeral was at the Evan Brannon home, Diagonal, Saturday, March 28 at 2 p. m., conducted by the Rev. Tom Moore King with burial in the Diagonal cemetery, Mrs. Zetta Wilt, a great aunt of Doneta, attended the services at Diagonal Saturday. The Brannon family lived for a time in this community.
