Mrs. Anna Teply died Monday afternoon at the home of her son, Adolph at Diagonal. She had gone to Diagonal about the first of January and had been unable to return to her home here. Funeral services are being held today, Thursday, at the Methodist Church at Diagonal, Rev. Tom Moore King officiating. Burial will be at Knowlton. Surviving are three sons, Stanley of Lenox, Adolph of Diagonal and Frank of Lineville. Her husband, Frank, and one son, Bud, preceded her in death.

Anna Rosie, daughter of Frank and Anna Romportl, was born Jan. 17, 1880, in Czechoslovakia and passed away Monday, April 6, 1953, at the home of her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph
Teply. She was 73 years, 2 months and 20 days of age.

Mrs. Teply came to the United States in 1903 locating in Blair, Neb. She was united in marriage in 1906 to Frank J. Teply. To this
union were born four sons, three of whom survive: Frank L, of Linevine, la.; Adolph A. of Diagonal and Stanley J. of Lenox. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren. They established their home
on a farm near Clarkson, Neb., living there until 1910 when they moved to Cedar Rapids, Neb. In February, 1931, they moved to Lenox, where she spent her remaining years.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Bud O. Mrs. Teply was a loving and devoted mother. She sacrificed everything for her children with a love that is kin to the Father's
love to all humanity.

Funeral services were Thursday, April 9, 1953 at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church In Diagonal, with Rev. Tom Moore King officiating. Burial was at Knowlton cemetery. Music was by Mrs. Clifford Taylor, Mrs. Freeman Rief, Mrs. Harol. Taylor.
