Creston, Union County, IowaOBITUARY - ARLO BEGGS, Clearfield
CLEARFIELD - Arlo BEGGS, 73, of Clearfield died early Monday, March 7, 1988, at the Clearview Nursing Home in Mount Ayr.
Services were 10 a.m. today, March 9, at the Clearfield United Methodist Church. The Rev. Duane FERGUSON officiated with burial in the Clearfield Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Clearfield United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Foundation. The Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Clearfield had charge of arrangements.
Mr. BEGGS was born Dec, 6, 1914 in Clearfield to Harry L. and Kathryn (CLAYTON) BEGGS. He married Joan SIVERLY Aug. 11, 1940, Bedford. He was a lifetime resident of Clearfield and a member of the Christian Church, Masonic Noble Lodge 458 and Clearfield Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Joan of Clearfield, a son, Gary BEGGS of Clarinda; two daughters, Jean (Mrs. Bob) SWARTWOOD of Clearfield and Kathleen FLAM of Afton, and four grandchildren.
