OBITUARY - ALEVA BROWN, Cameron, Mo.

CAMERON, MO. - Aleva F. BROWN, 70, of Cameron, Mo., formerly of Diagonal and Mount Ayr areas, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1989, at the Heartland West Hospital in St. Joseph, Mo.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2 at the United Church of Diagonal. The Rev. Eydie STEPHENS officiated with burial in the Diagonal Cemetery. Rebekah services will be 7 p.m. today at the Poland-Thompson Funeral Home in Cameron with visitation to follow.

Mrs. BROWN was born Sept 3, 1918, in Diagonal to Orville and Grace (TINDLE) SNODGRASS. She lived in Mount Ayr for eight years and the last 22 years in Cameron, Mo. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Cameron, Fibelis Rebekah Lodge No. 171 and was president of the American War Mothers.

Survivors include her husband, Claire BROWN of Cameron, Mo.; two sons, Ed of Pickering, Mo., and Allen J. BROWN of Columbia, Mo.; three brothers, Marvin of Centerville, Ivan of Boise, Idaho and Lavern SNODGRASS of Twin Falls, Idaho; a sister, Evelyn YOUNG of Afton;and seven grandchildren.
