OBITUARY - ROY HEROLD BROWN

Roy Herold BROWN was born at Kellerton, Iowa, on October 30, 1910 to Elmer R. BROWN and Hazel P. REEDS.

He lived in Kellerton, Iowa with his grandparents until the age of 12, at which time he moved to Kansas City. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the U.S.M.C. Band. He attended Rockhurst College and studied chemistry. After completing his education he became head chemist at Maalco Refinery in New Mexico. Upon leaving the refinery he entered Cleveland Chiropractic College. He remained in private parctice in Kansas City until 1985.

He is survived by one daughter, Kay DeLOYHT of Kansas City; three sons, all of Kansas City - Terrell D. BROWN, Dr. RObert R. BROWN, Dr. Richard D. BROWN; two step-daughters, Dorhla KRENING of Denver, colorado and Doris ADAMS, currently residing in Sydney, Australia. There are 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 12 at 2:30 p.m. at Maple Row Cemetery at Kellerton, Iowa, conducted by Fr. John ZEITLER.
