OBITUARY - ELIZA MILDRED (PYLE) CREVELING

Eliza Mildred (PYLE) CREVELING, daughter of Herbert and Iva (DYER) PYLE, was born October 8, 1906 near Watterson, Iowa.

She went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 1985 at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 22 days.

On November 21, 1923, she was united in marriage to Bert M. CREVELING. To this union were born three daughters, Virginia Faith BUELL of Des Moines, Iowa, Donella May MUNYON of Apache Junction, Arizona and Phyllis Dayle COLLINS of Newport, Oregon.

She loved her flowers and all kinds of crafts and her hands were never idle. She was a loving wife, Mom and Grandma. She loved to share her handiwork with family and friends. Eliza was baptised in the Christian Church in Albany, Oregon in 1955 and loved the Lord.

Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Sadie BARNHOUSE and Artie WEAVER; a brother, Bud PYLE; and a son-in-law, Ernest BUELL.

Surviving are her husband Bert CREVELING; her daughters, Faith, Donella and Dayle; two sons-in-law, Paul MUNYON and Paul COLLINS; two sisters, Avis GREENMAN of Albany, Oregon and Verda DANIELS of Twin Falls, Idaho; a sister-in-law, Fern PYLE of Mount Ayr; ten grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces and friends.

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. - Psalm 30:5

Funeral services were held October 7, 1985 from the Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in Mount Ayr, Iowa, conducted by Pastor Phil KINTON. Music was provided by Mike GREENE, Mrs. Jim JONES and Mrs. Robert FISHER.

Casketbearers were Doyle PYLE, Lee JACKSON, Willis ALLEN, Linford MASON, Francis VIRDEN and Marion CREVELING.

Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr, Iowa.
