OBITUARY

Mrs. Emma MORELAND, 90 [born in 1867], a former resident of Union and Adams Counties, died at the home of her daughters, Mrs. J. P. RYAN and Madeline MORELAND, at Urbana, IL., Monday evening [1958]. She had lived in the Shannon City vicinity before moving to Illinois. Her body will be brought to Coens Home for Funerals in Creston later this week. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Burial will be in the family plot in the Shannon City [Oakland] cemetery.

Mrs. MORELAND and her family had lived in Adams and Union Counties since 1890 before she moved to Illinois after the death of her husband, Samuel L. MORELAND, who died April 1, 1934.

Surviving are her two daughters in Urbana, and three sons, Art of Afton, Merle of Leon and R. R. MORELAND of Compton, Calif.
