OBITUARY - CHARLES JOSEPH SAVILLE
Charles Joseph SAVILLE, son of Joseph and Nancy SAVILLE, was born in Mitchell County, Iowa, November 13, 1863, and died September 6, 1938. While a small boy he came with his parents to Denver, Mo. where he grew to manhood.
He was married to Ida WALKER in 1890 and a few years later moved to a farm four miles southeast of Grant City where he spent the remainder of his life.
He leaves to mourn his death one sister, Mrs. J. W. WILKERSON of Mount Ayr, Iowa; eight children: Mayhew, Mahala of Oxford, Mississippi; Chauncey M. of Kansas City; Virgil B. of Jefferson City, Mo; Roscoe Joseph of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Mrs. J. R. JACKSON of Auburn, Alabama; Charles Galen of Peoria, Ill.; Dorothy of Stillwater, Okla., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the home Thursday, Sept. 8, conducted by Rev. C. E. OLSON. Burial was made at Prairie Chapel cemetery.
