Bertha SANDERS was born November 9, 1886 to George and Ella BLUMENSTEIN in Wellman, Iowa and passed away Monday, August 29, 1983 at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr, Iowa.
She was married to Samuel Jay HARMON in 1905. To this union were born, Harold and James.
In 1935 she was married to Vaughn SANDERS and they made their home in Shannon City, Iowa.
Survivors include one son, James HARMON of Collins; one sister, Fern WAGNER of Waterloo; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vaughn, a son, Harold HARMON, two sisters, Emma and Edith, and her parents.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, August 31, 1983 at Oakland Cemetery in Shannon City, Iowa. Officiating was Rev. Merlin WILKINS. Wilson-Watson Funeral Home of Mount Ayr, Iowa was in charge of the services.
