NOTICE of DEATH

SANDAGE, Weldon Glenn, 43, of Kellerton, died at the Decatur County Hospital, December 6. Services were conducted from the Slade Funeral Home Decmeber 6 with the Rev. Richard GIFFORD officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr.

OBITUARY - WELDON GLENN SANDAGE
Weldon Glenn SANDAGE, son of O. G. SANDAGE, Mount Ayr and the late Cora (PARMAN) SANDAGE, died December 6, 1967 at the age of 43 years, 6 months and 3 days at the Decatur County Hospital after an illness of two weeks.

He was employed by Des Moines Register and Tribune the past 7 years and at the time of his death was zone manager. Prior to this he was self-employed, and had served two years as deputy sheriff of Mahaska County.

While a young man Mr. SANDAGE was baptized in the Baptist Church and later transferred his membership to the Methodist Church at Oskaloosa.

Surviving are his wife Majorie, one son, Gary Ralph of U.S. Navy and two daughters, Catherine Marie and Mary Joyce, at home; one daughter Connie Sue HENDRIX of Memphis, Tenn. by a former marriage, his father and step-mother, Grace (PARMAN) SANDAGE, Mount Ayr; sister Mrs. Wanda BLOOM, Des Moines; brother Harold David SANDAGE, Ottumwa.

WITH SINCERE APPRECIATION we wish to than the Decatur County Hospital staff for their unfailing efficient care of our loved one while hospitalized. Also a big thank you to thhose who expressed their sympathy with flowers, food, visitations and kind words.
