NOTICE of DEATH.

DIED--In Mt. Ayr Township Oct. 30th, 1872, Mr. Joseph SALTZMAN. He has always been a good citizen, and lived an honorable and upright life. -- He leaves a wife and children to mourn his loss.

NOTE: Joseph "Joe" SALTZMAN owned and operated a brick yark. He died at the age of 47 years and was interred at Oakland (a.k.a. Saltzman) Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa. Emma (?) SALTZMAN, wife of Joseph, was born in 1874, and died at the age of 40 on October 8, 1914 with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa. Floyd Edward, son of Joseph and Emma SALTZMAN died at the age of 5 months on August 18, 1893 with interment at Oakland Cemetery.
