OBITUARY.

Floyd Edward SALTZMAN, infant son of Joseph and Emma SALTZMAN, departed this life Aug. 18, 1893, aged 5 months. Funeral services were held at Fry's chapel, conducted by Rev. L. B. CROSS of Mystic Iowa, who spoke from 2nd Kings 4:26. "Is it well with the child? And she answered it is well," after which the remains were laid to rest at the Saltzman [Oakland] cemetery [Ringgold County, Iowa] to await the resurrection day. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the community in this their sad affiction.

NOTE: Floyd Edward SALTZMAN's father Joseph SALTZMAN died at the age of 47 on October 23, 1872 with interment at Oakland (a.k.a. Saltzman) Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa. Emma SALTZMAN, Floyd's mother, died at the age of 40 in 1914 with interment at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr.
