OBITUARY - ZELINE (DEFENBAUGH) GEIGER

Zeline GEIGER, 96, of Lodi, Calif., formerly of Redding, died August 13, 2006, in Lodi, Calif.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, at First Christian Church in Mount Ayr. The Rev. John BRILLO will officiate. Burial will be in Redding Cemetery. Open visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Wilson-Watson Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church or Mount Ayr Community Schools.

Zeline GEIGER, daughter of Dora (MILLER) and Bert DEFENBAUGH, was born March 8, 1910 in Redding. On June 30, 1936 she married Vance GEIGER in Albany, Mo. She was a school teacher and lived on a farm near Redding, until moving to Lodi, Calif. in 1990. Zeline was a member of Mount Ayr First Christian Church.

Survivors include her cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband on November 1, 1988.
