OBITUARY - RAYMOND E. CROUCH, Jr.

Raymond E. Crouch Jr. 62, of Pittsburg, KS died 3:14 a.m. Saturday June 30, 2007 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Shawnee Mission, KS following a short illness.

Raymond was born November 2, 1944 in Watseka, Illinois the son of Raymond E. Sr. and Esther CS. (REDEKER) CROUCH. He attended area schools in Watseka. Raymond came to the Pittsburg area in 1987. He earned his Associates Degree in Business from Labette County Community College. On July 8, 1962 he married Lynn D. WILLIAMS in Watseka, Illinois; she survives at the home.

In Raymond's early years he worked in grain farming and raising livestock in Illinois to later in Sales of Business Forms. He worked for Uarco in Watseka, IL, FMI in Girard, KS and later Sekan in Ft. Scott, KS. Raymond was a member of the 1st Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Pittsburg, KS. He also was an active Mason for Masonic Lodge #446 in Watseka, Illinois.

Survivors include sons Raymond E. CROUCH III and wife Julie of Afton, Ill, Troy D. CROUCH and wife Rebecca of Tingley, IA, Chris T. CROUCH and wife Erin of Kansas City, KS, Jeremy J. CROUCH and wife Saline of Joplin, MO; brother Dale CROUCH and wife Margaret of Kansas City, MO; sister Joyce JACKSON and husband John of Everton, MO; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Elaine and Tom MAGNESS of Palm Springs, CA; grandchildren Danielle, Benjamin, Zachary, Kayla, Kera, Bailey, Kailynn, Conner George CROUCH; one grandson on the way, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law George and Arlene WILLIAMS, and brother-in-law Fred WILLIAMS.

Funeral Services will be 10am Saturday July 7, 2007 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS with Pastor Kevin ARENSMAN officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Joplin, MO. Public informal visitation will begin 4pm Friday July 6, 2007 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS with Mason Masonic Rights being conducted. In lieu of flowers the family ask expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to Angles Among Us or Donor's Choice. Friends may drop off or mail memorials to Bath-Naylor Funeral Home 522 S. Broadway in Pittsburg, KS. E-mail condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Pittsburg, KS.
