OBITUARY - YREVA A. (SANDERSON) DAVENPORT

Yreva A. DAVENPORT, 82, of Clearfield died January 20, 2006, at her home.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, at Clearfield United Methodist Church. The Rev. Darrell BOE will officiate the service. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at Shannon City. Open visitation will be after 11 a.m. today at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home in Clearfield with family visitation 6 to 8 p.m. today at Clearfield United Methodist Church. Memorials may be directed to Feed the Children.

Mrs. DAVENPORT, daughter of Lilly Florence (JOHNSON) and Avery Roy SANDERSON, was born June 10, 1923, in Lorimor. She graduated from Shannon City High School in 1941. On July 19, 1941, she married Hubert L. DAVENPORT in Grant City, Mo. She was a homemaker, and a member of Sharpsburg United Methodist Church and Cornelia Chapter of Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Hubert DAVENPORT of Clearfield; daughters Paula (husband Charles) BOWMAN of Lenox and Joyce (husband Carl) MERKH of Sturgis, Mich.; sons Alvin (wife Claudia) DAVENPORT of Prescott, Harlan (wife Diana) DAVENPORT of Austin, Texas, Brian (wife Mary Grace) of Clearfield and Eric (wife Debra) DAVENPORT of Blockton; brother Avery (wife Bernie) SANDERSON of Tingley; sisters Pearl (husband Harold) GROUT and Leona (husband Tony) DRISKILL, all of Tingley, and Darlene (husband Richard) HENRY of Fulton, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Florence COPPICK.
