DEATH of MRS. J. C. WOLF.

Nancy Ellen SANDERS was born in Polk County near Carlisle, Iowa, November 18, 1868, and passed away at her home in Mount Ayr July 26, 1931, aged 62 years, eight months and eight days.

She was united in marriage to J. C. WOLF December 25, 1888, and the new home was established at Chariton, Iowa. There four children were born, the youngest dying in infancy.

In 1900 the family moved to Mount Ayr and here they have lived since.

Mrs. WOLF had been in poor health for several years and last October she and Mr. WOLF sustained injuries in an automobile accident. At the time Mrs. WOLF did not seem to be seriously hurt but as time went on her ill health increased until two weeks ago when she was taken to Des Moines to consult a specialist. No help was received and on Sunday at the close of a long day of suffering her spirit went back to the God who gave it.

Mrs. WOLF leaves to mourn her death her husband, three children, namely: Mrs. Wm. HAVILAND, H. B. WOLF, Mrs. Glen ROBINSON; six grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.

No sacrifice was too great where a member of her family was concerned and the neighbors and friends were never forgotten. her many acts of kindness will always be remembered. In their early girlhood she became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Greenfield, Iowa, and always loved to attend and when in later years when the cares of her home were heavy and ill health came she could not attend, but she never failed to see that her children were faithful in their Christian duty. Her memory will always be enshrined in the hearts of her family.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the home in northwest Mount Ayr, being conducted by Rev. E. S. MENOHER, pastor of the M. E. church, and interment was in Rose Hill cemetery. The funeral was largely attended, not only by friends in Mount Ayr and vicinity, but relatives and friends came from Chariton and Greenfield to join with the friends of the home community in paying tribute of respect to the departed. Many and beautiful were the floral offerings.

In the hour of sore trial, when the death of our beloved wife and mother overwhelms us with grief, words cannot express the gratitude we feel for the many acts of kindness and the sympathy expressed by our neighbors and friends. For the beautiful floral tributes and for every effort made to lighten our burden of sorrow we are profoundly grateful.
