OBITUARY - GEO. W. WILKINSON

Geo. W. WILKINSON was born in Joe Davis County, Illinois, October 23, 1854, aged 64 years 8 months and 7 days at the time of his death. He spent his early childhood where he was moved with his parents to Worth county [MO], in 1867. They settled on a farm near Allendale where he grew to manhood.

He was united in marriage to Clara B. DANIELS, March 4, 1883. To this union were born three children: Aubrey L., Elisha R., and Melvin C. WILKINSON, all being with him in his last illness.

Brother WILKINSON leaves to mourn his departure to another, a wife, three sons and two grandsons, beside many other relatives: B. P. WILKINSON of Allendale, Jas. F. of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. L. F. HAMMER of Lamoni, Ia., Mrs. J. C. CRECELIUS and Mrs. C. W. ROBERTS of Mount Ayr, Iowa. The deceased was converted in 1904 and has been true to his faith ever since, and when dying said: "I am ready to go."

Funeral services were held in the Baptist church at Allendale, conducted by Rev. N. J. NOATS of the Grant City Methodist church, and the remains were laid to rest in the Kirk cemetery, north of Allendale [MO].
