Robert "Bob" WATTS, 84, of Creston died July 18, 2006, at Greater Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 21, at Blue Grove Cemetery, rural Lenox. The Rev. Tim MAXA of the Presbyterian Church in Lenox will officiate the service. Open visitation will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at Coen-Beaty-Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Bob WATTS, son of Floy (KIMBALL) and Lon WATTS, was born September 27, 1921, in Mount Ayr. He graduated from Benton High School in 1939 and attended college in Grand Island, Neb., one year.
He married Jacqueline REDDICK and she died in 1995. On December 27, 1996, Bob married Doris Ann MOORE in Tatum, Texas. He was a brick layer and independent contractor 50 years. He lived in Tatum, Texas, for more than 40 years and Creston three years. He helped his brother, D. C. WATTS in Creston.
Survivors include his wife, Doris WATTS of Creston; daughter Michelle (husband Fred) RAY of Bridgeport, Texas; stepdaughters Debbie (husband Randy) O'NEALL of Creston and Patricia BURNETT of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his first wife, Bob was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sharon Kay WATTS, son Robin Ray WATTS, brothers D. C. and Lonnie WATTS, and sisters Maxine CAMPBELL and Marilyn BIRD.
