OBITUARY - MRS. CHARLEY WARDRIP.

Myrtle Frances SWIGART, daughter of John T. and Mary SWIGART, was born August 25, 1886, in Lotts Creek township and grew to womanhood in Lotts Creek and Riley townships. She departed this life December 23, 1932, at the hospital at Iowa City, where she has spent most of the time for the past year. She has been in ill health for several years and all that doctors and friends could do to restore her to health was done. She was 46 years, three months and 29 days of age.

She was united in marriage to Charley WARDRIP February 26, 1919. To this union two children were born, one dying in infancy and Caryl Fern at home. Besides the husband and daughter she leaves two brothers, Roy and Ralph of Lamoni; two sisters, Mrs. Grace FOSTER of Torrington, Wyo., and Mrs. Pearl CREVELING of Foster, Mo. Her mother and sister, Bertha DONELSON, preceded her in death.

She was a kind and loving wife, mother and sister and always ready to help those in need.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Mt. Zion church, conducted by Rev. Emerson McANINCH, of Muskegon, Mich. Interment was in the Mt. Zion cemetery.

A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
God in His wisdom has recalled
The boon His love had given,
And though the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in heaven.
