Deloris "Dee" WARD, 69, of Mount Ayr died Aug. 29, 2006, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr. Services are pending at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr.

OBITUARY - DELORIS "DEE" (ABELL) WARD

Deloris "Dee" WARD, 69, of Mount Ayr died August 29, 2006, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 1, in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr. The Rev. Edward SHIELDS will officiate the service. Family visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. A memorial has been established in her name.

Dee WARD, daughter of Peggy (JONES) and Chester O. ABELL, was born November 16, 1936, in Creston. On December 28, 1955, Dee married Robert L. Ward. Dee and her husband owned and operated Mount Ayr Greenhouse.

Survivors include three sons, Rob (wife Carol) WARD of Marion and Randy WARD and Wayne (wife Lori) WARD, all of Mount Ayr; daughter Renea CLYMER of Mount Ayr; mother Peggy ABELL of Creston; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters and four brothers.

Dee was preceded in death by her father, husband and two sisters.
