OBITUARY - GORDON MERRILL WALTER.

Gordon Merrill WALTER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank WALTER, was born in Lotts Creek township May 20, 1930, and lived there until October 22, when he was taken to the Children's hospital in Iowa City for treatment. He passed away at two o'clock, Wednesday morning, October 28, at the age of one year, seven months and eight days.

He leaves to mourn his death his mother and father, two little sisters, Gloria and Gwendolynn, his grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Rhoades Funeral Home Friday afternoon, October 30, at 2:30, conducted by Rev. W. Harold SMITH, pastor of the local Church of Christ, and interment made in Rose Hill cemetery [Mount Ayr].
