UPLAND, Ind. - Roland H. FRIESEN, 78, died September 3, 2006, at Upland, Ind.
He was born March 13, 1928, in Buhler, the son of Henry C. and Martha (VOTH) FRIESEN. He graduated from Buhler High School in 1946 and Grace Bible Institute, Omaha, Neb., in 1950. A former resident of Buhler, he was a missionary with SEND International, serving as director in Japan and Taiwan.
On July 16, 1950, he married Jean BONEBRAKE in Diagonal, Iowa. She survives.
Other survivors include: five sons; a daughter; a brother; a sister; and 19 grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Upland Community Church, Upland.
Jones-Smith Funeral Home, Upland, Ind., is in charge of arrangements.
