OBITUARY - RUBY SYLVIA (DILLENBURG) BYERLY

Ruby Sylvia BYERLY, 84, of Belfair died May 7, 1999, in Shelton.

She was born October 25, 1914, in Diagonal, Iowa, to Otto and Florence (SPENCER) DILLENBURG. On May 9, 1934, she married Milton BYERLY in Creston, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1992.

Mrs. BYERLY was a charter member of the Belfair Baptist Church.

Survivors include six sons, Richard of Seattle, Dennis of Kent, and Robert, William, Claude and John, all of Belfair; three brothers, John DILLENBURG of Yelm, Kenneth DILLENBURG of Olympia and Eldon DILLENBURG of Belfair; a sister, Joanne SCOTT of Bremerton; 23 grand-children; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Nelson and Jerry BYERLY; and two brothers, Raymond and Jack DILLENBURG.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Belfair Community Baptist Church with interment at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
