OBITUARY - FELIX ROBERTS

Felix ROBERTS, 73, of Kahoka, Mo., died Monday, August 14, 2006, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Born January 20, 1933, in Clark County, Mo., he was the son of Felix and Margaret (SCHMID) ROBERTS. On April 17, 1955, he married Helen BROWN in Kahoka.

Mr. ROBERTS worked at Sheller Globe as a die maker until 1979.

He was a veteran of the Navy. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of Local Union 444. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Theresa KUCHENBECKER of Eagle River, Wis., and Carolyn McCARTY of Hurdland, Mo.; two sons, Marc ROBERTS of Mount Ayr and Joe ROBERTS of Kahoka; 15 grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Edward ROBERTS of Revere, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, with family meeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Vigen Memorial Home, with the Rev. Paul HARTLEY officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Kahoka Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for disabled veterans, the Clark County Ambulance Squad and the family.
