OBITUARY.

The funeral services of Mrs. Eliza Jane ROBERTS, wife of H. P. (sic) ROBERTS, were held Feb. 11th of High Point church, where a large company of friends and neighbors were assembled. The services were conducted by Rev. M. A. JACKSON of Mt. Ayr, assisted by Rev. Fred SHELDON of Tingley. Mrs. ROBERTS was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LONG, of Blackmore, and with the exception of three years in Arizona, spent all her life in the neighborhood in which she was born, and was well known and much loved by all in the community. She was the mother of six children, three of whom preceeded her to the better land. Her death will be a serious loss to her husband, who regarded her as the main stay of the family. She was a member of the Christian church at Tingley. She died in her 34th year. Her body was laid to rest in the Blackmore cemetery[Oliver Cemetery near Ellston]. May the kind Father above comfort and sustain those that mourn her departure.

NOTE: Eliza Jane (LONG) ROBERTS was born on September 14, 1858, and died on February 9, 1892. Her husband, H. G. ROBERTS, was born April 13, 1854, and died January 7. 1933. They were interred at Oliver Cemetery.

Of H. G. and Eliza Jane (LONG) ROBERTS' children: H. GUY ROBERTS was born April 24, 1873; Effie ROBERTS, twin of Edie, was born September 22, 1875, and died March 12, 1876; Edie ROBERTS, twin of Effie, was born September 22, 1875, and died October 5, 1878; Dora Pearl ROBERTS was born December 1880; Louis Serge ROBERTS was born June 18, 1883; and Infant born and died January 24, 1892. They were interred at Oliver Cemetery near Ellston, Ringgold County, Iowa.
