OBITUARY - BERNICE IVY ROBERTS

Bernice Ivy ROBERTS of Tampa, Florida, died Sunday, June 4, 2000, at the John Knox Village Life Care Retirement Center in Tampa. She was 99. Mrs. ROBERTS was born on Sept. 20, 1900, in Kellerton, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Lee W. REYNOLDS. She lived most of her life in Columbia and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

"She was well thought of by all the members of the church," said Webster BROWN, her former pastor. "She lived close to the church, participated in all the church activities and served the people almost in a hostess manner." She is survived by her sister, June R. MILLER of Tampa.

Her husband, a son, two brothers and a sister died earlier.

Interment will be in Columbia with Memorial Funeral Home handling arrangements. Mrs. ROBERTS will be cremated and memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
