OBITUARY - ADALINE ELLIS.

Adaline ELLIS, eldest daughter of Joseph and Louisa ELLIS, was born August 18, 1852, in Bloomfield, Davis county, Iowa, and died November 6th, 1921, near Mount Ayr, Iowa, aged seventy-one years, two months and eighteen days.

She was a member of the Methodist church at Mount Ayr and so long as her health would permit, was always present at church service. She leaves to mourn her loss one sister, Mr. George HOSFIELD, of Ellston, Iowa; two brothers, Stephen D., of Ipswich, South Dakota, and Jasper, of Aberdeen, South Dakota, beside other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist church in Mount Ayr, after which the body was laid to rest in Rose Hill cemetery.
