OBITUARY - MISS STELLA ELLIS.

Miss Stella ELLIS was born in Davis county, Iowa, May 8, 1872 and died of consumption at her home in Mt. Ayr, Wednesday morning, May 31, 1893. She came to this city about two years ago and has been for many months a great sufferer. She united with the M.E. church in February, 1892, and the funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. C. L. NYE, Thursday afternoon. Floral offerings from Sunday school teachers and friends testified to the esteem with which she was held by her associaties. She leaves two sisters and a brother here and others west. [Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa.]
