OBITUARY - KENNETH DEE COLE

Kenneth Dee, son of Edd and Luella COLE, was born September 13, 1910, near Eagleville, Mo., and passed away at the home of his parents in Mount Ayr on Tuesday, January 26, 1932, at the age of 21 years, five months and 13 days. He came to Iowa with his parents a number of years ago.

On December 19, 1921, his health failed him and the following March went to Iowa City, where he remained for seven weeks, but found no relief. After returning home, he went to Lamoni for treatments, this failed to bring relief and he returned to the hospital at Iowa City in July 1930, where he remained until December, when he came home for a visit and expected to return in about two months. About a week ago, he developed a cold which later turned into a serious form of pneumonia, which in his weakened condition was not able to throw off.

At the age of thirteen he was converted at the Oakland church. While he never joined any church, he always tried to live a good life. He was kind and loving to all who knew him.

He leaves to mourn his going, his father and mother; three sisters, Miss Irene FERBER, Mrs. Waive WEHRLE and Nona at home; Keith and Ora at home; his grandmother COLE, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at Rhoades' Funeral Home Thursday afternoon, at 2:30, conducted by T. A. RHOADES, assisted by Rev. E. S. MENOHER, and interment made in Rose Hill cemetery [Mount Ayr].

Card of Thanks.

We wish to thank the neighbors and friends for their kindness during the illness and at the death of our loved one; also for the beautiful floral offerings.--Mr. and Mrs. Edd COLE and family.
