OBITUARY - HENRY BRIDGE

Father Henry BRIDGE, was born in Mifflin Co., Pennsylvania, in 1808 and died near Wirt, Ringgold Co., Iowa, December 26, 1887.

Father BRIDGE was married to Nancy ORR in 1831; moved with his family from Pennsylvania to Delaware Co., Iowa in 1854. And about nineteen years ago he came with his family to Ringgold Co., and has been a resident up to the time of his death. Father BRIDGE was formaly (sic) an elder in the Presbyterian Church, but united with the Evangelical Assoc'n in July, 1885 and was a worthy member of Wirt' Class at the time of his death. He leaves an aged wife, three daughters and two sons and a large circle of friends to mourn his loss. Funeral conducted by the writer. -- Rev. J. WIRTH.
