OBITUARY - MARY H. (MOORE) BREWER

Mary H. BREWER, daughter of G. S. and Elizabeth A. MOORE, was born in Illinois, February 18, 1854, and died at the home of her parents in Caledonia, this county, May 23, 1889. Her parents moved to Ringgold county, Iowa in 1855. In 1863, she joined the M. E. church and has lived a faithful and consistent Christian life for 26 years.

She was married to Rev. Chas. W. BREWER, September 2, 1875, and has cheerfully shared the burdens of a Methodist intinerant's life and has also been a zealous worker with her husband in winning souls and building up the the cause of Christ. Her husband was pastor at Glenwood, Iowa, at the time of her death.

The funeral services were held at Caledonia May 25th, conducted by Revs. W. B. THOMPSON and R. W. MATHENY and attended by a large number of friends and relatives.
