Marion,
Alson was my dad's Grandfather.
Actually I think George was Alson's brother.
His children were
Herbert Z b Jun 10,1889
Irma M b Feb 1,1892
Loren A b Aug 20,1894
Marvin E b Dec 16,1897
Opal M b Aug 31,1901
Howard L b Oct 1,1903
Glen D b Aug 29,1906

Herbert Z was my Grandfather. He died in an auto
accident in 1917.

If you have any information on Zebulon Crane, Alson's father, I would appreciate a chance to see it.
I have Zebulon and Sarah in Illinois in 1870 with
son Amzah, 3 yr old, and Marcus, 3 month old.
Alson was born Mar 1867, and died in Montana in 1929. I have the death certificate.
I think Alson is Amzah, but don't know when the name change was done.
My dad told a story of one of his ancestors changing a name, and I think that was it.

Hope you are still seaching Alson and family.
