I'm looking for ANY evidence (death record, obituary, family history, photos, letters, etc.) that the parents of Judge Christian Hedges (b 1830 Ohio-d. ?) of Marengo, Iowa County, Iowa, were Gen. James Hedges (b. 1780 Va. - d. 1854, Richland County, Ohio)and Jane Elder Kauffman (b. ca. 1810, Pa. - d ?). He lists Jane Kauffman as his mother in the 1870 and 1880 censuses, and Christian is listed in the Gen. James Hedges household in Richland County in 1850 along with Jane Elder. I'm also looking for family photos that might included his parents.
