Nancy J Wilson 1841-1906

I have been trying to link Nancy Jane Wilson back to her parents. I have a lot of information on her after her marriage to Reuben Wesco in 1867. I have a copy of an obituary that says she came to Poweshiek County with her parents in 1866 from Illinois, but it does not give the name of the parents. I think they were Alexander and Elizabeth Wilson, although Elizabeth may be step-mother rather than her mother. I have found the family in IL in the 1860 census and I think it is them. By 1870, Nancy is married, and Elizabeth appears to be a widow, living two doors away from Nancy. I could really use some help confirming that her father was Alexander and information about his death, probably in Poweshiek, and anything else about him. Does anyone have any clues?
