Thank you for your help.Richard Gage is not buried in Fayette Co.Iowa,his wife went to Michigan with her son after his death,and is buried there...Her affidavit for pension,states he is buried Brooklyn,Poweshiek Co.Iowa....His daughter,Genet(Jennette)Gage also seemed to dissappear around the same time--so don't know,if she died or married...I can't find anything on her,so feel she died too.He died in Iowa,not Fayette Co,where he resided..So I am at aloss to find his grave....
