Looking for any information on Andrew W. Hoyle, who moved to Poweshiek Co c1878 from Lincoln Co. NC with his wife Mary Catherine Saine Hoyle and their children (Susan E., Laura, John P., Jonas, and Mary). Andrew and Mary are buried at Upper Blue Point Cemetery. Andrew's tombstone transcription says that he died in 1883, but I have been unable to find a death record or obituary for him. Mary died on February 2, 1912 near Searsboro, IA. I believe that Andrew served in the Confederate Army. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
