Obituary in Family Bible of Charles S. McCORMICK and Anna A. LUDERMAN.

Anna A. LUDEMAN (sic) was born at Waukausha, Wisconsin, on December 19, 1869, and departed this life March 14, 1923 at 12:25 p.m. The first five years of her life were spent at the place of her birth, after which she came with her parents who settled near Montezuma, Iowa. There she grew to womanhood. On November 24, 1892, she was united in marriage to C.S. McCORMICK. To this union were born four children, two sons and two daughters: Frank of University Park, Mrs. F.E. Richards, and Mrs. A.H. Oswandel of Des Moines, and Fred of University Park. All the children were present at her bedside at her departure.

After marriage, she with her husband, resided on a farm not far from Montezuma, until 1912, when they removed to University Park, for the purpose of giving their children the best educational and religious advantages and environment.

When a young girl, Sister McCORMICK was confirmed in the Lutheran Church, uniting with that church. Some years later she came to a conscious knowledge of sins forgiven and walked in favor with her Saviour from that time forth. In the year 1904, she, with her husband, attended a holiness camp meeting near Oskaloosa, conducted by William H. HUFF and Bud ROBINSON. At that meeting she received the experience of entire sanctification which grace she enjoyed until her death. At her marriage, she united with the Methodist Episcopal church of which Church she has since remained a member.

She leaves two brothers, Fred C. LUDEMAN of Chicago and Charles F. LUDEMAN of Montezuma. The fatal malady which caused her departure came without warning as she was leaving the chapel of the University at the close of our recent revival meeting on the night of the 25th of February. Hopes were entertained of her recovery but those hopes were dissipated two days before her departure when another attack ended her mortal life. She was an affectionate wife and mother, an accommodating and helpful neighbor, and a true Christian. Her going is keenly regretted. We commend the family to the unfailing grace of God.
