OBITUARY

LeRoy Glass, son of James and Levisa Glass, was born in Montezuma, Iowa, March 12, 1882. He died in Princeton, Missouri, August 5, 1933. His age was fifty-one years, four months and twenty-tree days.

He graduated from the Montezuma High School in 1900. He was also a graduate of the Capital City Commercial College at Des Moines.

On May 15, 1909, he was married to Addie Kessler at Centerville, Iowa. They lived two years in Trenton, Mo., then went to Princeton in 1911, where they have since resided. He was one of the owners and proprietors of Princeton Telegraph for twenty-one years, until 1932. He was also a farmer and stock man. Part of his farming was done in partnership with Frank Collins of Princeton.

Mr. Glass was a man of temperate and cleanly habits, a good neighbor and had many loyal friends. His sudden death has come as a shock to all our community. Mrs. Glass died suddenly April 13, 1933.

He leaves five sisters and one brother: Mrs. Sarah Swafford of Belle Plaine: Miss Adeline Glass, who since the death of Mrs. Glass has made her home with her brother in Princeton: Mrs. Elizabeth Chandler of Gibson: Mrs. Margaret Lofgreen of Montezuma; Mrs. Mary Butts of Marshalltown; and the brother, Byron Glass of Victor.
