Lawrence J. Andrews , 97, of Macon, Mo , died Friday, Sept 2, 2005, at the Samaritan Hospital in Macon.
Funeral services were to be held today ( Tuesday) , at 10 a.m. at the United Trinty Church in Macon, with burial in Jackson Township Cemetery in Montezuma, Iowa. Arrangments were under the direction of the Hutton & Mc Elwain Funeral home in Macon.
Lawrence was born on June 8,1908, in Montezuma, Iowa, son of JOHN A. and MARY E. BEATTY ANDREWS. On April 30, 1939, he married SARAH FRANCES MINARD in Oskaloosa , Iowa.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, MARTHA BEAVER of Macon , and MARY WILKINS of Clinton township, Mich ,; four grandchildren ; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
