FORMER RESIDENT
DIES IN CALIFORNIA

A former area resident, 69-year old Cecil Harmon Moore, died Oct. 27 at Tulelake, Calif.

He was born on Nov. 16, 1900, the son of Charles L. and Mary Moore at New Sharon. He attended schools in the New Sharon area and later owned a garage at Searsboro. He was a school bus mechanic and driver for several years before moving to Eureka Springs, Ark., where he met and married Louise Hilton. He moved his family to Tulelake in 1946, where he had lived since. He attended the Assembly of God Church.

Mr. Moore worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad, retiring in 1967.

He is survived by his wife, Louise; a son, Charles; two grandchildren, Sherry and Johnnie Moore; three sisters, Lucille Pollick, Irene Koster and Pauline Hilton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Clifford; two brothers, Clifford and George; and one sister, Edith.

Burial was in Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens, Klamath Falls, Ore.
