SILAS H WRIGHT DIES

Silas Wright, at one time a resident of Grinnell, died last Saturday at Lynnville. The funeral was Monday conducted by Rev. Geo. Wood of the Friends church.

The Odd Fellows, of which the deceased was a member, had charge at the grave.

Mr. Wright died after a few days illness. He was in the produce business at Lynnville, which had been his home for eleven years. He had lived in various parts of Jasper county for the past 33 years, and at one time lived in Newton.

He was born in St. Lawrence county, New York on December 7, 1861 and was married to Rosa B. Moore in Des Moines on July 26, 1890. The widow also survives. He had no children and has no surviving brothers or sisters.

Mr. Wright was a member of the Rebekah and Odd Fellows Lodge.
