Word has been received here of the death of Cecilia M. Farmer, 78, formerly of Searsboro.
She died July 18 at a convalescent center in Olympia, Wash., where services were conducted on July 23.
She was born in Searsboro on June 29, 1901.
She had been a resident of Panorama City, Wash. for the past 15 years and had worked for the State Employment Security Department from 1938 to 1968. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Olympia, Ruth Rebekah Lodge No. 17, and the Trinity Chapter of Eastern Star.
There are no immediate survivors. An aunt, Mrs. Alda Miller, lives in Grinnell.
