MASON CITY - Mildred Irene Roth Losh, 88, formerly of Third St. N.W., Apartment 521, Mason City, died Thursday (Oct. 31, 2002) at the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E.in Mason City, with the Rev. Bill Poland officiating. Inurnment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services today at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to Hospice of North Iowa or Wesley United Methodist Church.
Mildred was born Oct. 29, 1914, in Brooklyn, the daughter of Frederick and Allie (Veverka) Mulhern. Mildred graduated from Mason City High School in 1932.
Mildred was united in marriage to Wallace Roth on June 15, 1935, in Mason City. Wallace then passed away on Oct. 13, 1988.
Mildred later married Armond Losh on Feb. 7, 1990, in Mason City.
Mildred worked at Surgical Associates as a bookkeeper from 1963 to 1979.
Mildred was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.
Mildred helped with the Mary's Women's Church Circle, and was a RSVP Volunteer. Mildred was also a member of the Senior Citizen's Center and the TAF Study Club. Mildred enjoyed reading, crocheting and loved being with people. Mildred loved to travel, visiting just about every state.
Mildred is survived by two sons, Wallace "Jack" Roth and his wife, Anita, of Anchorage, Alaska, and Larry Roth and his wife, Cathy, of Coon Rapids, Minn.; one brother, Fred Mulhern and his wife, Alice, of Mason City; one sister, Colleen Seel, of Fort Collins, Colo.; six grandchildren, David, Deb, Janet, Trent, Teresa and Troy; nine great-grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Wallace Roth in 1988; second husband, Armond Losh in 1999; one daughter, Marilyn Muth; and one brother, Marvin Mulhern.
